NEW HAVEN POLICE ARREST THREE IN PROSTITUITION STING

(12/5/2008) NEW HAVEN- The tenth in a series of stings by New Haven Police as part of a Prostitution Reduction Initiative yielded three arrests, Wednesday in the City. The Gun Unit conducted a prostitution sting in the Fair Haven neighborhood where an undercover officer posed as a “John.”

Police Chief James Lewis has commented that these arrests contribute toward improving quality of life issues in the City’s neighborhoods and help to resolve the foundations of some of New Haven’s larger crime and violence issues.

The following individuals were arrested for the charge of Prostitution:

1) Tracey Ordonez, age 39 of New Haven

2) Latavia Stewart, age 23 of New Haven

3) Tammy Jamison, age 31 of New Haven
